How To Use Script Typefaces Effectively for you wedding invitation

Fonts style is having very important role in wedding cards.
Typefaces (Fonts) that mimic cursive handwriting (script fonts) or fonts made from actual handwriting samples can convey a quiet elegance, personalize a form letter, or exude cheerfulness, playfulness or a casual mood. However, there are some places where script typefaces are inappropriate.

1. Match script fonts to the tone of your document. Choose a script typeface that is in keeping with the overall tone of your document — whether formal, informal, elegant, or casual. Script faces that mimic the actual handwriting of someone are generally more informal or casual than the formal script fonts used in Wedding invitations, for example.

2. Say no to ALL CAPS for script fonts. Don't use script faces in ALL CAPS. They are much harder to read.

3. Don't mix scripts. Avoid mixing two or more script faces in a single document. They usually clash.

4. Give script fonts more room. Allow extra character or line spacing for script faces with exaggerated features or extra curves, swashes, and curls.

5. Keep lines of text short. Avoid long lines and complete paragraphs of only script type. It is usually too difficult to read.

Tips:

1. Match script fonts with graphics. Match the tone of your script typeface with the tone of the graphics used in your publication — casual with casual, etc.

Types of Wedding Invitations

A wedding invitation is a critical piece of documentation that conveys far more than just the time and place of the nuptials. An invitation may offer a hint of the wedding’s theme, colors, or formality, may introduce guests to the happy couple, and may provide a way for guests to respond to the attendance request. Brides- and grooms-to-be need to understand all the subtleties of an appropriate wedding invitation in order to choose invites that express not only the proper information, but also the joy they feel in their upcoming celebration.

Types of Wedding Invitations
There are many different types of wedding invitations couples can choose from, such as:
* A range of sizes and shapes, including rectangular, square, bi-fold, tri-fold, note card, embossed, and other formats.
* Themed invitations suitable for a beach wedding, Disney wedding, western wedding, or any other specialized event.
* Invitations with customized enclosures such as RSVP cards, pew cards, or maps.
* Invitation sets with coordinated envelopes, seals, tissues, and ribbons.
* A rainbow of colors to match any wedding palette.
* A wide variety of traditional designs, from abstract borders to bride and groom clipart images.
* More casual invites for bridal showers or other wedding-related events.

Couples should choose wedding invitations that match their personalities, the theme and formality of their event, and their budget, but there are also other considerations to be made.
Invitation Considerations

Simply choosing a clever, pretty, or economical wedding invitation is not enough when selecting the perfect way to invite guests to share in such a special day. Other considerations include:

* How much will a complete invitation, with all enclosures and return postage on the RSVP card, cost to mail?
* Is the invitation legible for every guest?
* How easy will the invitations be to assemble, address, and mail?
* Have extra invitations been ordered as mementos and to account for misdirected mail or additions to the guest list?
* Has a proof copy of the invitation been reviewed for proper spelling and accurate details?

With careful consideration, planning, and coordination, couples can easily find beautiful wedding invitations to include everyone in their celebration, whether they are interested in a unique wedding invitation, a classically elegant card, or a fun and carefree invitation note.

Wedding Rituals

Japanese
Contemporary Japanese weddings are celebrated in a number of ways, and when it comes to wedding celebrations, western influence is seen in many young Japanese couple's choices. Certain western customs, such as the exchange of rings, wedding cakes, and especially honeymoons, have become commonplace in contemporary Japanese weddings -- but this culture has strong wedding traditions of its own.

Bengali Weddings
The geographical location of Bengal and the presence of the Ganges are reflected in many ceremonies, which combine regional traditions and customs from Vedic scriptures.
Brazilian Weddings
One of the most notable practices of this South American country is its Carnival -- in other words, its festive spirit. For every wedding, a party is necessary -- and a great one is to be expected every time. The Brazilian way is to entertain your guests as if it is Carnival all over again.

Almost all of the information that records the essential elements of a traditional wedding ceremony is generally credited to scholars of the Warring States period.

Dutch Weddings
Some wedding traditions that originated in the Netherlands have faded into obscurity -- with time and changing mores -- while others, such as the bridal shower, have spread far and wide and are still alive today.

Filipino Weddings
Wedding traditions, from the courtship to the reception, are drawn from local customs, from the influence of the Spanish occupation, and from Roman Catholicism.

Hindu Weddings
Wedding ceremonies are based on Vedic traditions and rituals originating in the Rig Veda, the earliest of the Sanskrit books of knowledge that form the basis of Hinduism.

Italian Weddings
Traditionally, marriages were arranged by both families, and diamond engagement rings were given in the belief that those gems were created by the flames of love.

Despite the belief that there should be no waste of money or time, marriage is seen as a once-in-a-lifetime occasion that has to be celebrated properly and grandly.

Jewish Weddings
In preparing for the wedding, the chatan (Hebrew for groom,) and kallah (bride,) should not only pay attention to the material and temporal aspects of married life, but should also focus on ensuring their religious, spiritual and moral readiness for the future.

Pakistani Weddings
The Mangni, or engagement, marks the first step towards planning a wedding. This is usually a very small ceremony with close family in attendance to see the couple formally engaged.

Punjabi Weddings
No thought should be given to the prospective bride and groom’s caste, race or lineage. As long as they both profess the Sikh faith, they may be joined in wedlock.
